1. About the Platform

Sonamasuri.com ("we", "us", "the platform") is a B2B marketplace that connects rice millers, sellers, buyers, exporters and importers across India. We facilitate introductions between parties — we are not a party to any transaction that takes place between users.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to register
• You must be authorised to represent the business entity you register on behalf of
• Registration is free and open to verified Indian businesses and individuals

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, truthful and current information at registration and in all listings
• Keeping your password confidential — do not share it with anyone
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately at info@sonamasuri.com if you suspect unauthorised access

4. Listing Rules

When posting products, requirements, daily stock, or auction lots, you agree:

• All product details (variety, grade, quantity, price) must be accurate and not misleading
• You must own or have legal authority to sell the rice you list
• Photographs must be genuine images of the product described
• You will not post duplicate, spam or irrelevant listings
• You will not list prohibited, adulterated, or illegally sourced goods
• You will honour prices and quantities quoted to genuine buyers in good faith

5. Prohibited Conduct

• Posting false, fraudulent or deceptive information
• Harassing, threatening or abusing other users
• Attempting to circumvent our platform by taking transactions off-site to avoid paying agreed fees
• Using automated bots or scrapers to access the site
• Creating multiple accounts to misrepresent identity
• Uploading malware, viruses or harmful code

6. Transactions Between Users

Sonamasuri.com is an introductory platform only. All negotiations, contracts, payments and deliveries happen directly between buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for:

• The quality, quantity, or condition of goods supplied
• Payment disputes between parties
• Delivery delays or logistics failures
• Any losses arising from transactions arranged through the platform

We strongly recommend users verify supplier credentials and use written contracts before any purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

The Sonamasuri.com name, logo, and site design are our property. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute them without written permission. Content you post (product photos, descriptions) remains yours — by posting, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.

8. Auction Terms

• All bids are binding — a winning bidder is obligated to complete the purchase
• Sellers must honour the winning bid if the reserve price is met
• Shill bidding (bidding on your own lots) is strictly prohibited and will result in account suspension
• We reserve the right to cancel any auction that violates these terms

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Sonamasuri.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data or business opportunities. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed ₹5,000.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice, at our sole discretion. Appeals may be sent to info@sonamasuri.com.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The revised version will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email.
